Welcome to ClearPath Counseling and Consultation!
Clear Path Counseling and Consultation, LLC was organized to offer specialized mental health and educational resources to the community in the form of classes, workshops, programs, and other services as they are identified.
Clear Path is owned and operated by Dr. Rhonda Simmons, who has been providing private practice mental health services within Pearl River County for over 15 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Education (Child, Youth and Human Services) from Nova Southeastern University and has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has worked with children, teenagers, and adults in individual, family, couple and group settings. Dr. Simmons also holds certifications in Insomnia (CBT-I), Grief Counseling (CGCS), and is an EMDR trained therapist. Dr. Simmons will be instructing and/or supervising classes related to grief, anxiety, anger, parenting and insomnia.
Shannon Slizoski graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. She is currently in private practice with areas of focus that include: adjustment disorders, mood disorders, Trauma, ADHD, OCD, and marital and family discord. She is also an EMDR trained therapist. Ms. Slizoski will initially be offering a Couple’s Reconnection Class and a Pre-Marital workshop. She will also be customizing courses for First Responders.
Dr. Jennifer Ladner-Graham is a licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Ladner-Graham completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Pine Grove Behavioral health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where she gained experience working with impaired professionals and treating various forms of addictions, and treating interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Ladner-Graham is currently in private practice providing psychological assessment services as well as individual and group therapy. She will be facilitating workshops on professional boundaries, alcohols and drug addiction, living a meaningful/values based life and customizing courses for businesses to address problems in the workplace.
Paula Duchmann attended the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating with both a Bachelor and Master Degree in Social Work. She has experience as a School Social Worker and School-Based Clinician, as well as served as an advocate within the school system. Paula is currently working in private practice with children, adults, and their families. Her scope of practice includes ADHD, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, anger management, behavior disorders, marital issues and trauma. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is an EMDR trained therapist. She will be offering a Transition to Adulthood workshop for participants between the ages of 17-23.
Dr. Deslie Bonano-Broussard attended Tulane University and the University of New Orleans, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern Mississippi and has recently completed a Doctorate in Social Work at Tulane University. She has been a Board Certified Diplomat in Clinical Social Work since 2005. She has been providing psychotherapy services in private practice since 2002. Her scope of practice includes treating mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorders, anxiety, trauma and autism. She is also a Certified Yoga Teacher and an adjunct professor.
Kimberly Sauls, LCSW, a Vicksburg, Mississippi native, attended Mississippi College where she received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She then earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has been a Licensed Certified Social Worker since 2001. She has experience in a variety of social work fields including inpatient psychiatric, residential women’s recovery, public mental health services, and behavioral intervention services in the public school setting. She began her private psychotherapy practice in 2018. Her scope of practice includes helping children, teens and adults, treating mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorders, substance abuse, anxiety and trauma.
Caty Waller graduated from Jackson State University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has experience as an adult therapist and a crisis intervention therapist working with children and adolescents. Caty is currently employed as a medical social worker in the hospice setting, working alongside patients and their families. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker pursuing her clinical license and will be facilitating grief and bereavement workshops in addition to anger management courses.

A sampling of our courses are listed on our website; however, It is also the goal of Clear Path to offer services as needs are identified by community members, leaders, and other providers.

Insurance will not be accepted for classes, workshops or groups; however, if you would like to file your personal insurance, a detailed receipt will be provided if applicable and eligible.
